آئی پی پیز اور ملک کا معاشی بحران پاکستان میں بجلی کی بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتوں کا مسئلہ ملکی معیشت کے لیے سنگین چیلنج بن چکا ہے۔بجلی کی قیمتوں میں مسلسل اضافے نے نہ صرف عوام بلکہ صنعتوں اور زراعت کو بھی بری طرحمتاثر کیا ہے، جس کی وجہ سے پاکستان کی عالمی منڈیوں میں مسابقت کی صلاحیت ختم ہوتی جارہی ہے۔ اس صورتحال کا بنیادی سبب وہ غیر منصفانہ معاہدے ہیں جو ماضی کی حکومتوں نےانڈیپنڈنٹ پاور پروڈیوسرز (آئی پی پیز) کے ساتھ کیے تھے۔ ان معاہدوں کے تحت حکومت کو غیرضروری شرائط کے ساتھ بھاری رقوم ادا کرنی پڑ رہی ہیں، جس کی وجہ سے گردشی قرضوں کا بوجھمسلسل بڑھ رہا ہے۔ ملکی معیشت کے اس بحران سے نکلنے کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ بجلی کے نرخوں میں کمی لائی جائے اورآئی پی پیز کے ساتھ کیے گئے معاہدوں میں فوری طور پر تبدیلی کی جائے تاکہ غیر ضروری ادائیگیوںسے بچا جا سکے۔ یہ تبدیلیاں ملکی مفاد میں ہیں، اور اس بات کی امید کی جا رہی ہے کہ ان معاہدوںکے مالکان، جو زیادہ تر پاکستانی ہیں، ملکی حب الوطنی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے معاہدوں میں تبدیلیوں پرجلد راضی ہو جائیں گے۔ اگر ان اصلاحات پر عمل درآمد کیا گیا تو یہ نہ صرف پاکستان کی معیشت کو استحکام فراہم کرے گابلکہ ترقی کی راہ میں حائل بڑی رکاوٹوں کو دور کرنے میں بھی مددگار ثابت ہوگا۔ الطاف چودھری 10.09.2024
