Vandalism in PT and Imran Khan’s political future
After May 9, PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) is going through a delicate phase, with significant changes in the party’s structure and leadership. During this time, the retreat, exile, or withdrawal from politics by veteran leaders, and the increased role of the workers at the forefront, have marked a key shift. Additionally, the relationship between leaders and the establishment, along with internal disagreements, have complicated the party’s current situation.
However, Imran Khan’s role remains central, and the possibility of his return cannot be ruled out. The steadfast and loyal attitude of PTI’s workers could pose a challenge for emerging new leaders, and these workers seem poised to play a crucial role in the party’s future.
The relationship between loyalty within the party and leadership will further shape its political future, and it remains to be seen whether Imran Khan will be able to once again play a key role or if the party will begin a new chapter under different leadership.
