The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are not satisfied with PTI’s performance, and public backlash is expected.
Public sentiment against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) seems to be rising in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. When any government remains in power for a long period, the public expects the fulfillment of promises and visible societal improvements. PTI has been in power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for almost 15 years, during which promises of change and better governance were made. However, if the public feels that change hasn’t materialized and corruption has increased, it could become a significant issue. Public protests, demonstrations, or voicing opposition to the government is a natural response when the public is dissatisfied with governmental policies or actions. Reports of bribery or other forms of corruption being publicized could further fuel public anger.
If the situation is as described, it is likely that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will express their dissatisfaction by protesting against the government, and there could be political changes on the horizon. It remains to be seen how this discontent will manifest and what impact it will have on future elections or public movements.
