The reality is that in the country’s political history, the lack of stability and mutual trust between the establishment and politicians has deepened internal issues.
A recurring pattern in Pakistan’s history shows that whenever a political party comes into power, various accusations are made against it, and attempts are made to destabilize it. This approach not only poisons the political environment but also harms democratic values. It is unfortunate that consensus agreements such as the Charter of Democracy do not continue.
For a stronger democratic system in Pakistan, it’s essential that politicians and institutions work together, putting the national interest above personal gains. This requires political maturity, tolerance, and respect for each other. Another critical factor is raising public awareness so that people understand that political differences can only be resolved through democratic and constitutional means. To prevent unnecessary rumors from spreading among the public, strict enforcement of laws against irresponsible statements and propaganda on social media and other platforms is necessary.
Solving the country’s issues requires a comprehensive strategy that seriously addresses terrorism, economic instability, and diplomatic challenges. These problems cannot be resolved until our institutions and politicians trust each other and make collective efforts.
In truth, Pakistan needs self-accountability and real reforms to move forward. We must learn from past mistakes and work toward building a better and more stable Pakistan, where democracy is strong and institutions are resilient.
