Patriotism is part of faith

Love for one’s homeland is a noble sentiment ingrained in human nature and holds a significant place in Islamic teachings. A true Muslim not only worships his Creator but also considers love and loyalty toward their homeland, fellow citizens, and environment as an essential part of faith. Islam teaches not only individual acts of worship but also principles of collective life, including brotherhood, goodwill, and peace, in which patriotism stands as a fundamental value. Those who harm the peace of their country or hinder its progress are not only national offenders but are also deprived of the moral integrity that stems from true faith. Therefore, love for the homeland is not merely an emotional attachment but a religious, ethical, and national duty that adorns a person with the noble traits of loyalty, sacrifice, and service.
