Our society is corrupt – there are neither the manners of Islam, nor the morals of ignorance, nor the manners of nobility.

It is true that, as a society, we stand at a strange crossroads where we neither fully adhere to Islamic principles, nor embody the moral codes of pre-Islamic ignorance (Jahiliyyah) that Arab societies once took pride in, nor have we preserved the decency and traditional values that used to define us.

This situation indicates that we are suffering from an identity crisis. We have abandoned our roots and begun imitating Western culture, but we neither fully embraced it nor managed to safeguard our own traditions. As a result, we have adopted a way of life that belongs neither here nor there.

This issue is not confined to individuals or governments but permeates the entire system. The reasons include a lack of education, insufficient moral training, imbalance between religious and worldly affairs, and an absence of collective consciousness. Unless we return to our principles, values, and faith—and begin to implement them—this void will only grow.

To address this, it is essential to recognize our foundations, understand our values, and strive to practice them, so that society can move in a positive direction.
