The deteriorating state of the economy and law and order in the country:
The increasing unrest and economic crisis in the country have worsened the situation. The deteriorating law and order situation in regions such as Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially the ethnically motivated killings in Pashtun areas of Balochistan, have created an atmosphere of fear and panic among the public. The government’s inadequate measures and the interior minister’s irresponsible statements have drawn severe public criticism, creating the impression that the government is not serious about resolving law and order issues.
On the other hand, the ongoing crisis in the agricultural sector has put farmers in severe difficulty. Due to climate change and government mismanagement, the production of key crops like wheat, maize, and cotton has declined, negatively impacting the agricultural economy. The destruction of the cotton crop, in particular, and inaccurate agricultural forecasts have raised concerns about rising inflation in the country, which could further complicate matters for an already financially strained public.
If the government does not take immediate and effective actions, the country may face further crises, increasing the public’s difficulties and damaging the national economy. The current situation demands that the government make serious efforts to restore law and order and implement immediate reforms in the agricultural sector to pull the country out of the crisis.
