The term mafia is not actually the name of an individual, but rather the product of a corrupt system that has become devoid of justice, accountability, and the true spirit of law. This very system gives birth to powerful criminals, nurtures them, and then protects them. When we only criticize individuals and ignore this decaying system, we are, consciously or unconsciously, strengthening the same rotten structure.
The real criminals are not the faces we see, but the system that molds these faces, empowers them, and turns the law into their servant. This is the greatest deception of the system: it distracts us from the real culprits and chases us after visible faces, so that we never reach the root that is spreading all the corruption.
